FAQ
Beach golf questions, answered
What is beach golf?
Beach golf is short-game golf played on sand: chipping, pitching, and putting to targets and short holes set up right on the beach. It's played in teams, with music, and is designed to be social.
Do I need to be good at golf?
No. The formats are built for mixed-skill teams, and plenty of players will be picking up a wedge for the first time.
Do I need my own clubs?
You can bring a wedge and a putter. Each stop's page will say whether loaner clubs are available.
Where and when are the events?
No stops are confirmed yet. The cities on our Cities page are proposals, and dates and venues will be announced on this site once local partners and permits are in place.
How much does it cost?
Signing up to show interest is free. Entry pricing for each stop will be posted when that stop is announced.
Can my company book a private beach golf event?
Yes. Use the Host & Partner form and pick "Corporate or private event."
Is it safe to golf on a public beach?
Courses are marked off, only wedges and putters are used, and we use soft or limited-flight balls. Every stop runs under that location's rules and permits.
How do I get my city added?
Vote for your city or suggest a new one on the Join a Team page. The cities with the most interest move up the list.
